St. Gervais-Les-Bains

The Winter

Nestled in the Haute-Savoie, close to the Swiss and Italian borders, the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area is a hidden gem with over 400km of pistes linking seven resorts, including Megève, St. Gervais, Combloux, Les Contamines and St. Nicolas.

The main ski lift is just a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive from the chalet. With wide green and blue runs, the area is ideal for beginners and intermediates, while advanced skiers can take on challenging reds, blacks, and expansive off-piste terrain.

There’s more than enough to fill a week on the slopes, but for even greater variety you can upgrade your pass to include world-class resorts such as Chamonix, Courmayeur, and Verbier (car required).

The Summer

St. Gervais isn’t just a winter resort, it’s full of life year-round. In summer, the mountains open up for biking, parapenting, climbing, and hiking, with endless trails and the Mont Blanc tramway offering easy access to stunning viewpoints.

A highlight of the warmer months is exploring the lakes. Lake Passy is just 10 minutes away and perfect for a picnic and a swim, while the famous Lake Annecy (about an hour’s drive) offers turquoise waters and unforgettable scenery. Afternoons are often spent lakeside, sunbathing, sipping rosé, and cooling off in crystal clear water.

Back in town, the atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, with alfresco dining, evening entertainment, and the bustling weekly market.
