Chalet Chèvrefeuille
Originally built in the 1930s, Chalet Chèvrefeuille (Honeysuckle) was once a charcuterie with 3 converted apartments above. We spent 2 years renovating the building into a 5* holiday chalet and home for ourselves. We provide a seamless and personalised holiday for you and your family/friends.
The chalet sleeps 8 guests across 4 stunning en-suite bedrooms. The chalet’s chic décor, paired with large picture windows showing off the stunning views of the property, make them the perfect area to unwind. The top floor serves as an open plan living and dining area with vaulted ceilings showing the original roof structure and exceptional views of the valley that truly take your breath away - a brilliant environment for both socialising and relaxing. Upon entering the chalet you will find a boot room to dry off your gear ready for the next day and ample storage for cases, pushchairs, sledges etc. Chalet Chèvrefeuille is just a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the main gondola ‘Le Bettex’ and the same distance from the beautiful town of St. Gervais.
We offer both self catered and catering options to all guests. Our aim is to remove all stress from your holiday, allowing you to make the most of your time in the mountains as well as your down time in the chalet.
If you were to chose our fully catered option, we would provide a continental and hot breakfast, the perfect way to gear you up for a day on the slopes. You would also have the option to take a packed lunch with you if you didn’t intend to eat out at one of the mountain restaurants.
Upon return from your day skiing/boarding you would find afternoon tea laid out, including cakes and fresh bread. If you were with children, we could provide a kid’s tea for them at around 5/6pm. For the adults, dinner is kicked off with drinks and canapés followed by a delicious, home-cooked 3 course dinner. Wine and beer would be served throughout.
Accessing the chalet couldn’t be easier: personally, our two preferred modes of transport include flying into Geneva airport and catching a 1hr transfer direct to the chalet, or hiring a car. We have also driven numerous times ourselves from London via the Euro Tunnel which takes anything between 10 – 12 hours door to door, depending on the number of stops.
Alternatively, there is a direct train straight from Paris to St. Gervais La Fayet station, a 5 minute drive from the chalet. There will also soon be a railway linking Geneva directly with St. Gervais La Fayet – currently under construction!
